Happy Glittering New Year, dear readers! While 2012 was my year of enormous transition, incredibly humbling support and unbelievable learning from so many amazing teachers, I want to say one thing though, as a creative entrepreneur: keep some discovery for yourself. Save a little bit of getting lost and way-finding sacred because we all need creative challenges to stretch.
It’s so easy to go on Google or get a course that tells us all the secrets to shortcut our way to success that sometimes we forget it’s the getting lost that teaches us. I believe it’s so important to be deliberate in our learning and define the areas that we want intentionally to be lost in so that we are aware of where we need guidance and what we treasure learning on our own.
On that note, in my own personal journey of getting lost, I have found my way finally for this moment in my adventure and it is sweet. Here is the culmination of all I have learned and applied since I first took the road less travelled back in 2010…
